1 can of buttermilk biscuits
1 can of apple pie filling
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Icing:
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking pan or skillet.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Dip each biscuit into the melted butter, coating all sides, and then roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  4. Arrange the buttered and sugar-coated biscuits closely together in the prepared pan.
  5. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. Spoon the chopped apple pie filling over the biscuits, then sprinkle any remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture on top. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the biscuits.

  8. While baking, whisk together the confectioners’ sugar and milk to make the icing.
