When it comes to bite-sized desserts that deliver big on flavor, Butterfinger Peanut Butter Bombs are the perfect treat. Imagine the nostalgic combination of creamy peanut butter, crushed Butterfinger candy bars, and a luscious milk chocolate coating—it’s an irresistible explosion of taste and texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup Butterfinger candy bars, crushed (about 45 bars)
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smoothing chocolate)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine creamy peanut butter and softened butter. Blend until smooth.
  2. Gradually sift in powdered sugar and graham cracker crumbs, mixing until uniform.
  3. Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars evenly.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Optionally, mix in coconut oil.
  7. Dip each chilled peanut butter bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring full coverage, and place them back on the lined baking sheet.
  8. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to harden.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Chill the balls thoroughly before dipping to maintain their shape.
  • Add decorative touches like drizzled white chocolate or extra Butterfinger crumbs on top for a fun presentation.
  • These bombs can be stored in the freezer for up to three months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
