Description

If you’re in the mood for something sweet, easy, and utterly delicious, you’re going to fall head over heels for this Moose Farts recipe! Whether you’re hosting a cozy gathering, enjoying a festive holiday, or simply craving a no-bake treat on a lazy summer day, these bite-sized snacks are the perfect indulgence. The rich, creamy center, paired with the crunch of graham crackers and the sweetness of chocolate, will leave everyone asking for more. Inspired by a whimsical name, Moose Farts are a fun, no-bake treat that’s as simple as it is satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk (300 ml in Canada or 14 oz in the US)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups dried coconut (fine or medium cut)
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, plus extra for rolling
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine the melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs, dried coconut, and chocolate chips until the mixture is well combined.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for about an hour to firm up, which will make it easier to roll into balls.
  4. Scoop and roll the mixture into 1 1/4-inch balls. Keep them on the small side, as they are quite rich.
  5. Roll the formed balls in additional graham cracker crumbs to coat them evenly.
  6. Place the coated balls on a baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour until firm.

Notes

  • Customize your flavor by adding peanut butter for a richer, nuttier twist or try white chocolate chips for a lighter flavor.
  • For an extra texture, try toasting the coconut before adding it to the mixture.
  • If you’re short on time, make smaller balls for faster cooling.
  • Moose Farts can be stored in the fridge for up to a week and can also be frozen for longer storage. Just store them in an airtight container.
