Description

Is there ever a bad time for a peanut butter cookie? These Triple Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookies take the classic peanut butter cookie to a whole new level with the addition of Reese’s Pieces, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and Reese’s peanut butter chips. Whether it’s a cozy movie night or a holiday cookie swap, these cookies are guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup mini Reese’s Pieces
1 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
1/2 cup Reese’s peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and add the vanilla extract, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Carefully fold in the mini Reese’s Pieces, chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and peanut butter chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Use a spoon to drop mounds of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, making sure to leave about 2 inches between each cookie.
  7. Place the baking sheets in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes; the edges should be golden, while the centers stay soft and chewy.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Use room temperature ingredients for easier mixing.
  • Don’t overbake; the cookies will continue cooking on the baking sheet after being removed from the oven.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container with a slice of bread to keep them soft.
  • Freeze dough balls to bake fresh cookies anytime.
